EMC measurements
Contecto has an Anechoic Chamber to measure EMC radiation. Thanks to this closed chamber, a realistic estimate can be made about products meeting the guidelines for electromagnetic radiation frequencies.
In order to be able to sell products on the market within the EU, an EC mark is required, so that it is clear that the product complies with the European directives. One of these parts is that the product complies with the guidelines for electromagnetic radiation. To measure these as accurately as possible, an Anechoic chamber is needed with which frequencies can be excluded from the outside.
The second purpose of the room is to measure the immunity of products. By releasing amounts of radiation on the product, it can be measured to what extent radiation will affect the product. To get the best possible test result of the product's immunity, these tests are done in this enclosed space.
